EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY

  The Eighteenth birthday is a very popular celebration in Poland. Traditionally the eighteenth birthday is celebrated very revecently, surrounded by friends and family. This birthday symbolizes the end of childhood and the entrance into adulthood.

   Many young people begin to think very early about how and where to do the solemn and sumptuous party. Very often they choose a restaurant or a large banquet hall, to host such a party. Special invitations are made for guests special food is ordered for the ceremony.
   Before the party, friends decorated the hall. When the time come to celebrate birthday, the invited guests, arrive with gifts. All the guests are dressed very festively and elegantly. During the party, people eat food, drink cocktails and dance to the music. The party often ends the next morning. This is a time of great fun and joy. The person of honor unwraps the gifts brought by the guests. The gifts, of course, are shown to all the guests.
   Eighteenth the birthday is a day to have fun together. When the party is successful, the birthday person will remember all the fun for a long time.

I Regret

When I have more time I like sometimes come and watch what is interesting in stores. More interesting is how I go to the store with my friend. One day I was with my friend in Kohl's. I bought very expensive shoes and when I returned to the home, I realy regretted my decision.I should have thought before I spent the money.The next time I will think before I spend too much money.

I Miss My Hometown

I miss my hometown of Gdansk for many reasons. My city is very different from cities in US. I lived in a multi-family hause, such houses are common on my street. Everything we need to live is located close to our place of residence. We are within walking distance of the children's school or kindergarten. Near my neighborhood there are many small shops. We have many parks where children can play. There is well-organized public transportation,because my city is big. Many people do not have cars, and they use public transportation. My hometown of Gdansk is a very old town.Many buildings in my city are historic buildings, that are antiques. These old buildings create a unique atmosphere which is lacking in Milwaukee.

The Most Beautiful Place

J was always fascinated by the mountains. Althought I lived by the Baltic Sea , I loved the mountains more. The most beautiful place in my country for me was the Tatry. We call them the mountains in my country. In these mountains there is a nice City Zakopane. Zakopane lies in a large valley where there is salubrious climate. This small town has some unforgettable charm, where time flows slowly, no rush. People living there dressed in regional costumes that are colorful and beautiful. Highlanders people are kind and polite. We can see spectacular and beautiful mountain views when leaving the city. Zakopane is far from my hometown, but I went there whenever I could to climb the high peaks and enjoy the wonderful views.

ADVICE

We should live a full life because we never know what awaits us tomorrow. Let's try to be have a positive attitude to always be cheeryful and kind to others.We should show our loved ones and speak to them how much we love them. But if we have bad time in our life and it something is wrong we don't give up just as long as possible we can fight to the very end.

If I had my life to over...

If I had my life to over, I would live somewhere away from the big city, where it is far away from the noisy strrets and somewhere in the vicinity of high mountains. I would have a small house with a garden near the forest where I could go for long walks. I would have animals in my home, especially dogs. I would have a garden with beautiful flowers. I know this is only a dream but sometimes it is good to have them because sometimes they can come true. It does not matter how old we are.

My Most Important Person In My Life

The person who was very important in my life is my father.He was my first teacher and model to follow.I always admired him for three reasons.First,he was a wise man,who knew a lot about many things.Second,I always got his support and good advice.Third,my dad always had time for friends and family.Finally,he was a well liked person,who helped other people.He was happy and cheerful like a man who did not have problems.My father taught me about life the best he could.He has had a very positive influence on my life.
